Since last Monday I have been from one end of the Bay to the other, literally. Last Monday found me in the Sothbay below the Dumbarton bridge for one small keeper sturgeon, Tuesday found me in Rio Vista for a diaper Striper fest"The Kids had fun" and Wednesday found me in one of my regular haunts around pittsburg hooking a nice fish, only to have it come unbuttoned after 10 min. and a couple of flounders.
Today found me fishing were I grew up fishing, in San Pablo Bay. One of my regulars, Larry Lee of Sacramento joined Justin & Me for a little recon to SPB, one good bite that Larry hooked up ended up being a beautiful 70" oversize that was released to fight another day.
I Hope to see everyone at the Sac. ISE show starting Jan. 15th at the Cal Expo, we will be in the Main Sportfishing building this year, I will be offering cut rate trips for multiple purchases.

Well I finally got out after the squid today and we were not disappointed, we stopped at 35 up to about 45#, we didn't have any room to put any more as they were mostly on the larger size. This was my first trip on the big water with the new motors and they handled well and I am really happy with them as I have said before.
I am in the process of eliminating the (707)569-6940 number and going to do all the business on my cell # (707)334-4827, I will probably keep the number until the end of january, but please make note of this and also it will be changed on the website around the 1st of the year.
I want to thank everyone for fishing with us in this trying year we have had, and to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and hope to see you soon.
Capt Bob

Sturgeon fishing has slowed down due to the cold weather, on Sunday we caught 3 shakers up to 42", Tuesday was a blowout with nothing to show for our efforts, Wednesday we caught 1 small keeper Sturgeon and 1 big shaker, and today we ended up with 1 shaker and 1 4# bass to show for our efforts.
This weather just doesn't look like it wants to give us a chance to go catch some squid, all we can do is hope.
ISE show in Sacramento is coming up soon, if you go stop buy our booth, this year we are in the main building.
Talk to you soon, Bob

I had a group of 3 today for Sturgeon, the day started with a slow ride in the fog to the spot I planned to fish, we weren't dissappointed, we caught a 60" & 63" before the tide ran out. We moved to another spot and caught a 70" oversize to end our day.
I have room on Friday & Saturday if anyone wants to go.

Wen't out chasing Sturgeon on my first trip with the new motors, I am very pleased with there performance. We now cruise at 30kts. I just can't wait for the Tuana this year. "I Hope"
Lots of fish around the area we were fishing we managed to land 3 sturgeon and losing a couple of nice fish and missing more the our share of bites. Ray Antonio of Petaluma was the lucky angler to land and release a beautiful 68" oversize for his first Sturgeon. The other 2 were small shakers.
I will be offering Sturgeon/Striper trips in the Delta & Humbodlt Squid in Bodega as long as they are available, I haven't made it out yeat for the squid but all the reports coming in are very promising.
Talk to you soon, Capt Bob
